While we raise plenty of fresh food products ourselves we also rely on our neighbours for the quality products they can provide.
Many of our organic grains, flakes and flours come from Oak Manor Farms just outside of New Hamburg ON. Oak Manor sources organic, non-GMO grains and seeds from certified organic family farms locally and across Canada. Their heritage milling processes preserve the nutrients of the whole grain.
Our selection of oils includes `”Ralo” a certified organic, high-quality, extra-virgin olive oil from small family farms in Greece. “Ralo”, a small business in Kitchener ON, visits these small sustainable farms themselves to taste and select the highest quality oil, each year.
We carry hand-made beeswax candles from Your Time Boutique. These beautiful candles are available in an assortment of styles: pillars, tapers, votives, tea lights and birthday candles. Naturally fragrant, these lovely candles give off a subtle scent of honey when burning, making them a good alternative for people who have asthma, allergies, or headaches due to paraffin or scented candles.
We have handcrafted herbal soaps from a couple of small local businesses. We also carry shampoo and other personal care products.
We’re very pleased to stock beautiful, Canadian-made wool Blankets from MacAusland’s Woolen Mill in PEI. This family-owned and operated woolen mill is now in its 3rd century of operation, still producing 100% virgin wool blankets in a variety of sizes and colours. Available in Queen, Double, Throw and Lap sizes.
What else will you find in our farm store? Our own apple cider vinegar, organic crackers, pastas and breads including gluten free options, birdseed, dog food, and home-grown apple gourd treasure boxes and birdhouse gourds.
